If not, I'm already satisfied with having now a bigger icon than before. (I understand I will have to fix it again with a new update)

Thanks!
I'm not sure if I can post resulting file here, but in short:
I don't have access to Kobo ereader atm, so I had to crop the corner of bookmarked page screenshot I aquired online, then I run it through some free online tools to make white color transparent and converted it to .svg. Then just rename it to dogear.opaque.svg and dogear.alpha.svg and replace original files in Koreader folder of your ereader.
If you own Kobo, then it might be as easy as converting original bookmark .png to .svg...

could anyone please share either the .png or .svg of kobo's bookmark, 'dog ear'. Some of us don't have kobos.

I wanted my dog ear to look like the PocketBook bookmark ribbon.

I made custom SVG's and modified readerdogear.lua to enlarge the image. If you use very narrow margins, there may be some overlap. I did my tests on a PocketBook Era.

File locations:
\applications\koreader\resources\icons\mdlight
\applications\koreader\frontend\apps\reader\module s
Attached Files
File Type: zip PocketBookDogEar.zip (3.3 KB, 41 views)

Yes! With the help of greentea I now have the Kobo "default" dogear icon in Koreader.
I've looked through the files in my Kobo but I wasn't able to find the original file, so the steps provided above may be the only way, I don't know.
