In using the custom toolbar we use https://developer.apple.com/document...viewcontroller provided by Apple to show the definitions. Unfortunately Siri is not exposed in this way for dictionary lookups
I'm a bit confused - both Marvin's and MapleRead's system toolbars are customisable. I'm not a coder, but I wonder why you have to use a custom toolbar?

All of these were addressed in the latest release.

Image tab is much more improved and better than Marvin since you can not only browse and swipe in a gallery view but you can immediately navigate to the page of that image.
You guys are really great.

Going back and forth works like a charm and yes, BF's image tab works even better than Marvin's - I upgraded to advance tier.

Now a few more wishes in my priority order:
  • PDF: The option to handle the cover separately in the two-page view
  • Clock
  • Deleting books should also remove series. Empty series doesn't make sense to me.
  • Reading statistics per book and maybe saved in a history
  • Bulk edit for iOS app like delete. Switching to web view is a bit annoying.
  • The previous mentionend sync history
  • Calibre's author sort by LN FN
  • Show selected tags from Calibre in the bookshelf and book details, including custom ones

In web view no publisher is showing up

I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next and thank you again for listening to the users' wishes!

They don't use a custom toolbar. The expand the current default toolbar and expose those functionality. The default toolbar does not support the custom color picker and keeping the last 5 used colors. As a result we could not use the same approach as the other apps.

If we did not have the custom color picker in the toolbar then we could have taken a similar approach. Hope it helps to explain it without going into the weeds. None of the other apps support this functionality in the toolbars.

  • This is a good suggestion. If it is the last book in the series.

  • Oh you will like the detailed statistics coming next year. You will be able to drill down per book and other options

Not sure if we understand this one. We import all tags from the Calibre tag field. How else would tags be stored and why not used the tags section ?

No worries, we know sometimes it might take a while to get the improvements out but they do come. Happy Holidays.
