How happy is the server going to be when the email address is for a no longer existing domain? When I was on GoDaddy, I took a quick look since the email address shows eyeoftheworld.com and it states the domain is parked and for sale.

It's eyeofworld.com. not eyeoftheworld

I wish the server name had not been blurred out. From what can the main server (www.eyeofworld.com) does have ports open for smtp / pop3 / imap.

I'd suggest double / triple checking the server name you have specified

I take it back. The connection was not refused. The server simply failed to respond to the connection attempt.

The fact your email program works is not that relevant. Calibre uses its own settings for email and is independent of your email program
