Just checked after running K4PC. A file called temp_%1%2 appeared in the Kindle directory. I renamed it to installer.exe and took a look at it's properties (see attached image). Installed it and up came K4PC 2.4.1 (70946). Downloaded a file and it imported as a .kfx-zip in calibre. Ran the 2.4.0 (70904) installer and let it install over 2.4.1. Ran and it reported 2.4.0. I then removed the downloaded file, re-downloaded it and calibre happily imported it as a KFX.

So, if, in some way, K4PC gets updated and I still have the installer for 2.4.0, I can install that over the rogue one and things will be back to normal till they do it again??

Hope that makes sense.
