Definitely not.... otherwise there wouldn't be ANY apps on the app store...they ALL have bugs. Apple doesn't care about that minutia. More likely it was just automatically dropped off the roll after so long without an update, or Kris didn't pay his annual developer fee, or his mac was reported as busted...

I think he's alive and kicking.

Maybe he has just moved on with life and academic career on that island south of Italy and does not have the time and or will to be bothered by Marvin. I think I respect that.

I would certainly respect that too...but it wouldn't take too long to post a message stating such so at least we would know and wouldn't have to guess... unless you are stating that from actual knowledge and not just assumption??

And, just maybe, he would be willing to release Marvin's code to another developer so it can be maintained. There are more than a few with the skills, and willingness, to update it if he allowed it.

btw, the email I've been addressing is the one to his academic career.

Just assumption. When googling the developers name and place I find a publication with his name from 2024, well after Covid.


I've seen that behaviour from more developers. They just seem to abandon their pet projects because ...... life (children) or career? I must respect that.

Coincidentally one of these developers also had an academic career. Maybe they have to stop these side projects?
