When you say you find your eBooks in PDF, are they legal?

Oc.They are mainly either some notes made by amateurs and then enclosed to a pdf file,either some very old ebooks without copyrights that concern nutrition and religion.i dont read fiction,novel etc..i took my kindle mainly for having there survival books just in case.

You can try calibre to convert PDF to KF8 and see how it goes. It may or may not be good enough.

Yeah sure.Redmi Pad SE 8,7 meets my criteria and has superb battery life and screen options.Or maybe i will just stick to .epub's with similar books (almost excellent results with koreader ok kindle basic 3).

(Method to download from Amazon: Go to the Amazon website and get the URL for the latest installer. It should be an S3 bucket "public" link. The installer file name ends with the version number, and also has the "build number" as a directory. Changing both of these to match the number above should get you a good link)
