My second nomination is
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel published in 2014. It is described as post-apocalypic literary science fiction, different than what I would typically nominate. It won the Arthur C. Clarke Award for Fiction in 2015 and was also nominated for several prestigious literary awards such as the Women's Prize for Fiction and US National Book Award.
