24th Jan: I've scrapped my original two awards challenges, because I've signed up for many more challenges over at Worlds Without End. 9 so far, I think. I'll leave the tracking there. They will include at least one winner from each of these awards, however.
1. Locus SF award. This muscled ahead of the BSFA in my priorities when I realised how few books I had left to read, and how many of them I already owned. There are 8 to go at the start of 2014.
2. BSFA award winners (at least 1). Continued from 2013. At the start of 2014 I have 22 to read, but I don't expect to read them all this year.
3. The ABC Murders (at least 8). Alphabetical challenge based on detective names. Continued from 2013. I was originally intending to split this over 3 years, but I might now try to finish in 2014. There are 15 remaining at the start of the year.
