Finally, PB602s and PB701 (IQs) arrived! Here how I unpacked my first IQ:

I like the way the software looks. And what a lovely shade of blue! All the photos showed red and blue as really intense, and since I will be carrying this with me to school, I was worried about it being "too loud". Can you give us some more information on how it behaves later on?

Found an independent retailer's showing-off video for IQ and 602 on Youtube He introduces Pocketbook IQ to his customer... it looks gorgeous... though I like rather darker red.., it's okay... The touch looks responsive. |

The IQ performance looks good, responsiveness to the swipe paging is, as I expected, less than 100%. Resistive screens aren't really meant for those kinds of control systems.
It's too bad there aren't dedicated paging buttons as everything else looks good enough to buy, just from that video. I'll probably still bite but I really hope there are other ways to page. |

You'll be happy to know that three different market-apps are built in with the device, so you'll surely find a proper program for your needs

FJTORRES -
It appears that the PocketBook IQ has 3 more buttons than the PanDigital Novel. I strongly suspect that 2 of them are used for FORWARD and BACK. Even if PocketBook did NOT map those within the eReader apps, it would not be a difficult "hack" to do it outside. Some folks did it with the volume switch on the PanDigital Novel. |

Pocketbook allows you to map the keys however you like in the current models. To restrict that in the IQ would be surprising to say the least.
Every time I see it the IQ becomes more and more attractive... There are very good comic viewer apps for download. I hope MangaWhat will be available as a separate .apk too. |

As I said, I'm hoping they can be mapped.
FBReader180's sensor-based paging might be an option if the sensor doesn't go to sleep like on the PB360. And yes, it does look awfully interesting. That combination of price and software makes up for a lot... |
