K3 Size Compared to Sony Readers

I was curious how the new Kindle WiFi would compare in size to the Sony PRS-300 and PRS-600. So I scaled images of the three readers and placed them side by side for a visual comparison.

I really like the ambidexterous side paging buttons on the K3. The Sony Readers are really difficult to turn pages while holding with one hand using their awkwardly positioned buttons. In theory the 600 can turn pages with a finger swipe, though I had trouble getting it to do that when I owned one. I also owned a 900 and it was difficult to get a finger swipe to take also.

You can also use Sized Up. Delete the original Kindle and the Kindle 2 for the same comparison. Note that the "3-D view" doesn't seem to work particularly well.

Hard to visualize colored squares, especially without labels.

BTW, my avatar is scaled so the Kindle DXG, Kindle WiFi, iPod touch, and BB 8900 are all properly proportioned to one another.

BlogKindle has a cool overlay which compares K3's size to K1, K2, KDX, nook, Sonny 300, 600, 900, Kobo and iPad.
