How to stop software updates?

How can I stop software updates on an Amazon Kindle 10th generation? The software version is 5.15.1.1. I have a jailbreak. I want to be able to use the web browser without the risk of updates.

People have been using the following for 3 years:

Newer and also has an option to stop logging:

Note that for both you have to actively run after doing the install.
