O'Ferrall, Ernest; The Lobster and the Lioness, v1, 27 April 2024

The author was a journalist, poet and writer of humorous tales for The Bulletin weekly magazine and its stabelmate literary monthly The Lone Hand. He was most active in the years between 1907 and 1920, and he died of tuberculosis in 1925 at the age of 44.
Quite a few of his tales are set in boarding houses, a form of habitation he knew very well, and often border on farce. This collection is new, and contains 36 stories. He had one collection published in his lifetime: Bodgers and the Boarders, 1921. A book of poetry and another short story collection were published posthumously.
All of these stories were originally published as by "Kodak", which was his nickname.
