Troubleshooting Oasis Boot Loop in Demo Mode

Hey guys,
I'm having an issue with my Kindle Oasis (2019).
I wanted to jailbreak it using LanguageBreak so I updated the firmware to 5.16.2.1.1, entered the ;enter_demo command, and restarted. It worked and I entered random store information but then it started boot looping. I can't mount the filesystem on Linux but using lsusb lists the device.

I let the battery drain and restarted but now it's just stuck on the screen saver.
The secret gesture doesn't work either.

Is there any fix to this? Seems like the device is faulty since I didn't even get to attempt the jailbreak.


edit: i checked for .bin files after updating and there weren't any.
