Send to Kindle App
Is there a way to use the Send to Kindle app when you are in Calibre? I can do it from my tablet if I happened to leave content server on (which I don't) and the email gets stopped by Amazon.
Thanks, Debra |

Oh yes. I get an email that says they can only convert X books. My email is registered for my kindle. This has been happening for about a year. It was suggested we get another email (I use google for Calibre), but that didn't work either.

Are you sending the wrong format? Is it still DRM infested? Or is X really N, where you exceeded their limit for N? |

We lied.
@Sydney's Mom, As theducks said -- what is the exact error email you got? I don't recall anyone else getting a "you have too many books, we won't let you send more" complaint. But just in case, how many PDOCs do you have in your Kindle Cloud? |

That is the generic "there was an error, but we won't tell you what error".
I will assume you can open the referenced MOBI all right in calibre's E-Book Viewer. So... what is the filesize of the emailed file? Last edited by eschwartz; 04-26-2016 at 02:18 PM. |

I downloaded and installed Send to Kindle (takes some fiddling, with Windows 10), and then I discovered it doesn't work for mobi (or AZW). I guess Calibre companion, using bookmarks and sorting by read, is the best way to get books on your SD card.
