Exclamation "java.lang.arithmeticexception divide by zero" dictionary problem

Hi everyone,
I have this problem with my dictionaries on M96. I have a number of stardict dictionaries, that all worked well until I updated the device.
Since then, every time I select a word to make the dictionary give me a translation, it returns me instead the sentence "java.lang.arithmeticexception divide by zero".
What does i mean? How can I solve?
Thanks to everyone will kindly help!

Hey!

I have the same problem. I tried the fix proposed here but it didn't work. If you manage to get it to work, let me know!

Yes I managed to solve it. I simply changed the set of dictiories I had installed and put the babylon ones on the device. Now it works.

I'm glad you managed to solve it! But I don't really understand what you do with the Babylon files. I thought only the Stardict format was supported by the dictionary app. In my case Babylon files aren't recognised at all...

I found on the internet some babylon dictionaries in stardict format.
I am italian so i doubt mine would be useful to you, but I invite you to keep searching for working stardict dictionaries (babylon or not) because in my experience this one problem depends on having the wrong ones installed on the device.

Someone said that it's because you have to change the "dict" file to "dict.dz".

You need to find a dict.dz compression tool, and put that file into dictzip.exe, and then it will become a dict.dz file.
