Does anyone have a link to a weightier version of the Gentium font? I don't mind what type as long as it's weighty enough to be readable on a Voyage screen.

I don't know whether GERGE's customised Gentium, called Isidore, would be suitable for you. It's free to try, anyway, in this thread

GERGE didn't add enough weight. So on a Kindle, it would still not have enough weight. And one thing left out is proper hinting. That can make a difference as to how the font looks.

I think mine looks pretty good all I did was add weight and do some in different sizes. I've used them for reading historical novels on my tablets and eReaders.

As long as GERGE's modified Gentium doesn't dump all the symbols/extended characters, I'll up the weight and add hinting. When Charis SIL was modified, it lost most of the symbls/extended characters and made it just an ordinary font.
