Libra 2: 144.6 x 161.6 x 9 mm and 215 grams (some of which is in the well-balanced handle with buttons - IME this makes it 'feel' lighter than it is, and I'm quite sensitive to ereader weight). For that the OP will get a fair whack of increased screen real estate, nice lighting, way more storage, and a vastly improved battery life.
It's its shape that makes it harder to carry in a pocket. It's almost a square whereas the Clara HD (or 2E) is a rectangle. The 2E is 159 x 112 x 8 mms and weighs 170 grams. Which makes it significantly more "pocketable" than the Libra 2. It depends on which is more important to the OP, compactness or screen size.

If a smaller size is a priority I can highly recommend the Clara 2E. Very portable and its display is stunning, the same high quality display of the Libra 2 (I have both).

OK - the OP said their Kobo goes everywhere with them in their bag, so I wasn't considering pocketability to be an important consideration.
