Just noticed that we have a new member (Kef) who's seventy-six. So far, the figures seem to reflect less reading in the lower age groups and less tech-savvy in the upper age groups with a peak in that group which falls between the two (tech-savvy readers?) Interesting stuff. As has been suggested, we should make this an annual event to see how trends develop. Cheers. Neil

Shame both surveys are only monitoring a very small sample of the membership - perhaps these polls ought to be prominantly on the front page.

Alternatively is there no way MR can drag the figures from the membership details? after all some of us add a date in our profiles .... birthdays appear at the foot of the main page and we get a birthday e-mail ....

But the other poll broke the ages down differently... I wonder how much of a difference that makes. This is 35-42 vs 30-40 or 40-50.

I'm just thinking dumb. I'm mesmerized by dreams' new psock friend.... and bumming that I gave her karma too recently to express my appreciation!
