I just noticed that Amazon / Audible still has "The Blue Fairy Book" by Andrew Lang available for free. To get it don't forget to get the Kindle book (here) before getting the Audible edition (here). NOTE: I'm only about 75% certain on the Audible link, so I would recommend buying the Audible edition through Amazon as you're buying your Kindle book (there will be a link on the "thanks for buying" page).

TM, I appreciate you posting the Audible daily deal here. Saves me from having to go to Audible and look. I just grabbed Duplicity. It's somewhat short but has good reviews.

Audible has a mailing list that you can get on to be notified of each day's daily deal.

I compulsively check Audible for the daily deal every night at around 12:15 a.m. I am always optimistic that they've run out of duds and will offer a book I want.

Me, too. Since they've started offering daily deals, I think I've bought three (possibly just two). But I always look, just the same.

What's the "best" way to cancel a membership and still retain maximum ability to "see" and purchase from sales? I know you have to be a full member to qualify for all the sales, but what's the next best way to do it (and still not pay a monthly fee)?
Also, I have a three-month gift membership ending March 3 and have already used up my "trial" offer, too. I currently have four credits and nothing is piquing my interest at the moment to use them on. Will I "lose" those credits if I don't use them before March 3? If not, do they last forever??? You folks are all experts at Audible and I've learned much from your insight; I'll appreciate any help with these two questions. Mahalo nui loa! |
