There have been several fairly recent price drops on early titles in Fiona Buckley's (pen name for Valerie Anand) Ursula Blanchard series, which is one of my really favorite historical series. But one whose titles are mostly very very expensive when not on sale - although with patience you can eventually get them all, in the US at least. (Several of the older ones seem not to be available in e-book in the UK.) All are $1.99 each, except the first, which is $2.99.

Medicus, apa Medicus and the Disappearing Dancing Girls, apa Ruso and the Disappearing Dancing Girls, both better titles than just Medicus IMO, is the first title in Ruth Downie's enjoyable (again IMO) historical Ruso/Tilla series set mostly in Roman Britain. It goes up and down in price a bit, but rarely as low as $0.99, which is what it is priced right now at both Kindle and Kobo US. If you have wanted to try this series and like to read in order, this would be a good time to grab this one...

Oh, and while checking this one out, I noticed there is a new L/L Hetheridge title out, Untrue Blue, which is the sixth one, following Blue Christmas. It's not on sale right now, but I'll be watching out for it...

Emma Jameson's Untrue Blue is on sale right now in the US ($0.99) and UK (£0.78), and discountable at Kobo. I haven't read this one, but have read and liked all the others in the series...
