Based on my experience with a NoteAir3, I'd say just try it and see what happens. I had to try 4 different loader files before I found the one that worked. The three that failed caused no permanent damage - I just held the power button down until it rebooted.
If you are able to get a boot image, the rest of the steps should work.
Keep in mind, I am a newbie at this, and am just stating what worked for me. Someone with more experience may have a different recommendation.
