I don't know where the confusion/randomness came along.

Try using that same factory SDM662 file.
If you have a Windows box hanging around I'd rather work with my software than the Python stuff.

If you can't get a loader to work then we're stuck waiting around until an update is released.
I was able get the boot.img file using the lenovo_motorola/001b80e102e80000_8b2d1c830d9d8576_fhprg_moto_g52.b in loader from the NoteAir3C thread.

There was one line in the console output that looked like an error, but it continued normally after that. The line was:
DeviceClass - [LIB]: USB Overflow

Also the boot.img file is an odd size - 100663296 bytes.

Are either of those oddities of any concern?

Magisk successfully patched the file, but I have not yet tried to flash it. I'd like your opinion on the file size before I flash it.
