It shouldn't print anything. You're dumping everything so we don't have to consider that in the time equation.
Here's a (slightly) better way to do things:

That's a big reference folder of mine.
No, there's not a single directory with a zillion files, but the entire tree contains ~8000 files. This takes effectively zero time (1/3 of a second).
