I've slowed down on my acquisitions a lot. Now I only buy a book if I really, really want to read it, and it falls under $5.99. I used to grab anything from my wishlist if it came below $5.99, now I re-read the description and think about the odds that I'm ever going to actually read it. I don't think I'm going to outlive the TBR pile I have of books I already own.
