YA comes to my mind first, for example:

The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Series by Michael Scott
Rick Riorden - he has several series based on Greek, Egyptian mythology

Or The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood.

Or maybe supernatural spin on a classic like, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.

I'm not thinking historical fiction, unless it has a supernatural element.

Other options could include Madeline Miller's Circe or Song of Achilles or Colm Toibin's House of Names.
