Quite a few of the major stores are starting "fall sales" on 01 Oct. As far as I'm concerned this is nothing more than starting Black Friday earlier than the did last year.
I'll be starting up the Black Friday thread in the next day or two. It will include these sales, along with Amazon's
Prime Big Deal Days.
