ETA: I've attached a FONT_RAMP file for you that should work, so you can test. Just unzip, I couldn't upload a file without an extension.
I've taken out the lowest three default sizes and added three sizes between the old 7th and 8th sizes. So #8 is same as default, #4 is the old size 7, and one of sizes #5-7 should hopefully be comfortable for you!

Thank you so much for taking the time to create that FONT_RAMP file for me, 7hir7een! I haven't had time to try it yet (I want to upgrade the firmware first), but I'll let you know what happens when I do.
