Removing series info from title auto

whenever i download meta data for books series information is added to title how do i stop this?

Change the (metadata site) Template

Hello theducks I tried to change site template assume you are refering to metadata download tab in prefrences this is what i did.

those affect the just EXTERNAL SOURCES to the Library Metadata

AFAIK
If the book INCLUDES series (or other field data) internally, you will always get those fields populated unless you have the Use filename preference ticked in adding books (people usually want MORE, not less

)
